Work Start Date Query- Tier-2 ICT Long term

Hi Moderators,

I had an urgent doubt. I have taken VISA Appointment in Bangalore, India on 19th Dec. Cos work start dates for me are 10th Dec2012 and end date is 10th Dec2015. Since its not realistic now, Ihave put the same as 3rd Jan2013 and end as 3rd Jan2016. Does this need to be recorded in the SMS? please let me know the same. I wont create any problems right? My employer has sent me an orginal maintanance letter dated 12tth december which reached me today.

There is no problem with the work start date of 10 Dec in the CoS and your visa appointment on 19 Dec. In any case, you cannot change the CoS once it has been assigned. The start date of your visa will be the decision date of the ECO in Bangalore and the end date will be 10 Dec 2015 + 1 month.
