Your decision letter may reach you before 1st week of march depending on your circumstance. I will advice you stop calling HO till say next week. indian234, this is just my own view and which is also based on what forum member have shared.

Agree .... give them some time to take the decision .....

Any ways nothing can be done from our end to accelerate the decision except to give a urgent treatment form :-)

RE: FLR(HSMP) stage...

Does anyone know which form to use for the purposes of urgent treatment request for the FLR (HSMP) application?

Workingintheuk.gov.uk website only has urgent treatment forms for the HSMP (Stage 1) application, and for the FLR (IED) applications.

Any help would be appreciated.

I sent FLR (HSMP) application on 5 Feb, but still no acknowledgement from them.

Thanks

hi all
new updates for HSMP PEOPLE
Tony Blair is asked tough questions

"Thursday 08 February 2007"
Martin Horwood MP (Lib Dem) put pressure on the Prime Minister with regards to the retrospective changes in the HSMP programme: "When will the Government start deporting the right people and stop deporting the wrong ones?" - he asked at House of Commons question time. The Prime Minister responded that he would ask Home Secretary John Reid to look into the issue, but added: "My usual experience on these things is that the facts turn out to be a little more complicated than they are usually presented."
regards.

HSMP Approved

Post by SA_HSMP » Fri Feb 09, 2007 10:50 am

Hi all,

My HSMP application has been approved! Here are the details:

Initial Out of country applicant (South Africa)

Application received at payment processor: 02/01/07
Payment deducted: 03/01/07
Phoned Home Office for reference number: 08/01/07
Submitted additional docs: 19/01/07
Approval decision made: 30/01/07
E-mail from caseworker indicating docs are ready for collection: 05/02/07
MBE Sheffield collected docs from Home Office: 06/02/07
Docs + approval letter received in South Africa: 09/02/07

The points I claimed/ documents submitted were:

Age: 20 points
Original driver's license

Qualification: 35 points
Original Master's degree certificate

Income: 45 points
Income tax return (covered only 4 months of period claimed)
Letter from Tax authority confirming when the South African tax year starts and ends (I used this as evidence for claiming exceptional consideration under the Income section)
12 months' original payslips
Letter from employer
12 months' bank statements (stamped and initialled by bank official)

English Language Requirement:
Original Bachelor's degree certificate
Letter from University stating that the degree was taught in English.

I only discovered this site after I had sent my initial application, but used what I learned here to send in additional documents before a decision was taken.

Thank you to everyone who contributes to these forums - it has made a big difference! And good luck to everyone still applying/ waiting for decisions.

Congratulations SA_HSMP

Can you please clarify the below.

You have mentioned that your income tax return covered only 4 months out of the total earnings period. Did you tick the box for Question 33 in the application form 'Income Tax return covering period claimed for'?

Badri

Hi Badri,

Yes, I did tick the Income Tax Return box, but also indicated exceptional consideration on the basis of a letter from the Tax authority in S.A. confirming which months were covered by the tax year.

Hope this helps.
