i got a new offer in scotland..just wondering if hsmp is valid in scotland and ireland ..

Am sure that it is absolutely valid in Scotland ....

But i din know it isnt valid in ireland ....

Alex can you please elaborate on this .... Where did you find this info ???

Anyone else to comment on this ???

I think that you'll find you are able to work in the U.K. Ireland is not part of the U.K. Northern Ireland is, but Ireland isn't. So you should be able to work in Scotland, Northern Ireland, Wales and England....but not Ireland.

As far as i got information from one recruiting firm:
A HSMP is not valid in Southern Ireland

So does that me we will be having entry restrictions to the Ireland or only Work restrictions ????

Would we neeed a seperate visa for this purposse ????

Hi suneel,

As far as i know its WORK RESTRICTION.
Why becuase that recruiter told HSMP is not valid to work there in Southere Ireland.

If any body knows correct information. Please do share.
in DUBLIN HSMP is not valid itseems...he mentioned clearly,

You need a separate visa to enter (visit or work) Ireland.
