Tier 1 (g) extension refused

Post by maria78 » Sat Dec 22, 2012 6:23 pm

Hi folks, tier1 (general) extension has been refused yesterday.
Application was made on 20 June 2012.
Don't have any leave left, so given right of appeal.
The reason: the self employment income wasn't considered
As the accountant who audited the account is not recognised or acceptable to ukba. Submitted p60, bank statements, letter from accountant.

Accountant letter you have supplied do not meet the requirement specified under appendix A of immigration rules.
Accountant has to be a member of a recognised body as stated in the policy guidance.

What are my chances or options now ?

I would call an immigration consultant/lawyer if I were you coz you definately dont want to get it wrong the second time.

You need to get another letter from a registered chartered accountant, this technically wont be like submitting new evidence at the appeal stage (which is not allowed) so just that one document and you should be fine I guess
