Spouse visa

Post by Khall75 » Fri Dec 21, 2012 11:21 am

I applied for ILR 10 bases in may and still waiting.
My question is as my last visa was hsmp PBS tier 1G which was issued on 25th July 2011 to my self and my wife wich is valid till July 2013.
Once I received my ILR is it compulsory to apply FLRm for my wife or wait till July 13 when she is done with her 2 years probation and the apply for her ILR. Do I have this choice or not. Please help.

i think she has to change her visa to flr(m) coz her dependent visa is void after your ilr

Post by Khall75 » Sat Dec 22, 2012 12:39 pm

Thanks @ z18
But got another question. How long I got after I receive my ILR to apply for my spouse FLRm? Is it 28 days ? Or more.

i think if she dont travel outside uk , she can apply ilr at the end of her visa, but my opinion is dont make it took long, sort her ilr out ASAP, Better for u.

No we don't have any plans to go outside uk till September next year. Instead of making two applications in 7 months it will b better to make 1 ILR in July premium service. Has anyone done it before? As I'm confused some are of the opinion that she will be illegal after I get my ILR and don't change her status.

if at all she done with 2 years, she has to switch to flr(m) then set(m) for ILR.

what are you talking about 2 ILR's ?

She will complete her 2 years in July 2013. I ment to say that instead of going for FLR m before July 13 and then do ILR. Is it possible just to wait till July and the do ILR when the probation time is completed.
