Dependents Rule Change from 9th July 2012

Post by msarwar » Tue Jul 10, 2012 12:45 pm

Changes in Dependents Rule applicable from 9th July 2012::

<capy pasted from UKBA web-site>
The changes include:

introducing a new minimum income threshold of £18,600 for sponsoring the settlement in the UK of a spouse or partner,
or fiancé(e) or proposed civil partner of non-European Economic Area (EEA) nationality, with a higher threshold for any children also sponsored;
£22,400 for one child and an additional £2,400 for each further child;

Question No.1:

If I have got a wife and 3 children, what is the total minimum threshold income I need to show:

Is it (18600+22400+2400+2400) = GBP 45800?

18600 = wife;
22400 = 1st child
2400 = 2nd child
2400 = 3rd child

or Is it (22400+2400+2400) = GBP 27200?

22400 = wife + 1st child
2400 = 2nd child
2400 = 3rd child

Question No. 2?

Does this rule effect the the Minimum Maintenance Fund required to keep for a minimum of 3 months period?

This is the Tier 1 General section. Tier 1 General visa holders cannot sponsor anyone for settlement in the UK afaik.

The rules only apply to applications an partners of British/settled persons, it doesn't apply to tier 1 dependents.

Tier 1 Dependend Self Employed

Post by Sarva81 » Thu Dec 27, 2012 4:44 pm

Hello

Pls help me on clarifying my doubt on Applying for Tier 1 Dependent via Same day Premium service

I booked my appointment on 31-Jan-13, Tier 1 Dependent application form didnt ask for details about my self employment.

Could anyone pls clarify, Would there be any questions asked @PEO office while submitting Tier 1 Dependent application on my Earnings

If yes...pls clarify...should i get my payslips signed by my Accountants along with Dividend vouchers as the Tier 1 Main Applicant does for thier application

I'm bit confused as i'm applying as Tier 1 Dependent though i'm self employed.

Pls clarify...

With Thanks
Kumar

Don't be rude Sarva81. You have hijacked someone's thread and have posted something totally irrelevant to the op's question.

Why don't you start another thread rather than posting your question here?

Kind Regards
