Forgot to take my Biometric card to India

Hi All,

I have travelled to India recently for an emergency situation and i forgot to take my Biometric card to the Airport along with my passport and the Flight staff never asked for the Biometric card.

In my passport, it had only the expired visa. Only after reaching India , i remembered about my Biometric card.

I enquired to my flight provider, whether they will accept the Scanned copy of the Biometric card, but they informed they want either original card or Letter from Immigration.

i have asked one of my friend from UK to post my Biometric card to my India address through an express delivery. So, i rescheduled my flight for a week.

Anyone faced similar situation? Will update my situation..

i dont have any past experience in this or similar issuse but as far as i am aware it is illegal to send passport or biometric card through international post or courier... so better you confirm this with correct sources...
