Hi
Myself and my husband have applied for a spouse visa from Albania and it advises that there service level is that 95% of applications are dealt with within 12 weeks however on looking at their latest figures last month it was 67% within the 60 working days! We have been waiting more than 3 mths now
is anyone else in a similar situation and does anyone know any reasons for these delays or has anyone applied from Albania recently?
Cheers
Sara

Got an email today from world bridge after asking for an update saying one line......this application has been resolved
What do you think this means if its been resolved how long before we expect a call or does this mean were are getting a letter? Does anyone know what happens once a decision has been made?

Anyone help here? If a decision is made is it the ECO that calls or is it passed back to the embassy for them to call or is it always a letter that is sent trying to work out if we have been successful or not???

I really hope so! We can email back but if they have just made decision then perhaps they will call tomorrow.......lthats why I wondered who calls is it the ECO or do they make decision then pass to someone else to call him hence the delay of informing us of the decision

Your originals will be returned to you, there is no reason for them to keep your originals and they will have taken copies if necessary.

Your original are yours, there is no need for them to keep them in any scenario because you will obviously need them in the future. Don't worry, everything should be fine.
Holding thumbs for you
Let us know the outcome
Thanks

Congratulations Touchwood1981, I am very happy for you. I am guessing that all your original documents were included in the envelope and that you were worrying for nothing.
This must be the best Christmas present for you and your husband!

Congratulations Touchwood.
That's step one out of the way and, I would argue, the most trying one. Spouse visa criteria seem to vary so much from country to country and of course you're left at the mercy of an ECO making a subjective judgement. I don't think anyone can ever be certain whether they will be successful.
The next stages are difficult in their own ways but provided you follow the rules, make your case and submit the correct documents its just a case of waiting. But that's for another time. Meanwhile, enjoy your day and I wish you all the best for the future.

All my hubby's info is correct on his stamp but the part that says 'spouse/cp' which is supposed to say my name has my name all jumbled up then my correct d.o.b
Will this matter as all his info is correct and when we apply to extend the ref number on it will have my correct info on the system?
Thanks
