wage slip issue???

Post by aj_sp_007 » Fri Feb 09, 2007 1:37 pm

guys help..

i have wage slips for feb06-jan07
now the wage slips are sealed without any signature on them
now if im getting my wage slips signed...it will surely look one day signatures.
now should i ask to put date with the signature...and explain the caseworker that these signature were done in one day...as our company dont sign the w-slips

or simply get the wage slips signed without any date....and make them look as if they were done on different dates.......

what to do...just dont want to get into any kind of trouble.

they can be any date, as long it has a date on them, you should be fine.

From my personal experience, the wage slip should show the date for which it is issued.

The signature and official stamp may not bear any date at all.

If wage slips are on official letter head then sign and seal are optional. Seal will reinforce that the wage slips are original.

You can simply walk to your finance manager (or someone in similar capacity) and simply ask him/her to put his initials/signature on each stamp.

The signature and stamp are required for wage slips that are on plain A4 paper.

I am unable to understand the term "one day signatures"?

I did the same :). I made all 12 wage slips print out fresh and get them sign and stamped at the same time.

However, stamp on my wage slips are "Manager Finance, XYZ Company", with signatures of my finance manager.

Is designation on all pay slips mandatory?
Or, can we give the contact info.(name, designaion, tel no, etc) about the person who has signed seperately in the covering letter?

As per requirements mentioned in HSMP Application Form, one is supposed to provide a named contact (employer) who is suppose to verify the earned salaries.

This fact can be mention in cover letter. I decided to provide this information on company letter head to make it more official looking.
