Hi there, I am currently still in tier 2 General VISA

About the change of annual salary:
I am currently earning 23K a year as it was the minimum required salary back in 2011 April for a shortage occupation (Chef) . But I was wondering if it is possible to reduce to 22K or even less. Would it affect my VISA at all that it doesnt meet 23K a year, as it was required in order for me to apply my current VISA?
