Hi Jamal,

You can see the visa processing times on the UKBA website here http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/visas ... ing-times/

My husband applied in Ismir Turkey on 23 of November, the decision was made on 10 of December as he has been asked to provide our International family registry on 5 of December.

Hope everything will be good for you, finger crossed :)

You submitted way too much stuff.

You only needed to submit two passports, a marriage certificate, and (since your husband is already working in the UK) A single payslip to show they are working.

No TB test or proof of English skills are required.

Well, I called it " International Family Registry" as it's the best translation I could find, this does not exist in the UK, in French this is "Livret de Famille International" we got one from Turkey and also one from France since we also got our wedding recognised in France. It's a book they give you stating of the wedding and you add children when they born.
The consulate called my husband asking him to either send it or bring it to them.

I know we submitted lots of documents, that is because I was afraid they refused the permit for wedding of convenience, as I've seen many refusals for that reason, you can read our full story here: http://www.immigrationboards.com/viewtopic.php?t=116668
