Addition of Spouse Name in Passport

Hi Everyone ,

I am applying for MY new Indian passport with “ Addition of Spouse Name “ at HCI London . I Have below 2 questions .

Do my wife need to accompany me to HCI London when submitting the application ?

Do I need to take the original passport of my wife to HCI London when submitting the self -attested photocopy of wife's passport ?

Can someone kindly reply to above 2 queries ?
