Applications made from within UK

Post by Sarah_123 » Tue Jan 01, 2013 10:56 am

Hi Guys,

It will be great to know how many people have applied through the PSW from within UK from July 2012 onwards. I just want to know if there is a delay for applications made within the UK or for all applications made.

I gave my biometrics towards the end of September and have applied through the PSW route within UK.

Also does anyone know why is it taking UKBA so long to process applications it is impacting our business and their economy.

Thanks,
S

This is really thoughtful that so many peoples have applied thru psw routes, and surprisingly wen i saw the time frame it looklike almost 4 or five months? may b many applicant submitting international or third party statments to support the application!! is there any one who got it earliest then this period?

The applications made within the UK typically take a longer time, especially when made under the 50000 category.

Hi Humv,

Thanks for your reply. So that means it is going to be six months to your application..have you tried contacting UKBA?

I have seen a few ppl who applied in July have got their visa in this thread.

Is there anything we can do to request UKBA to increase the speed of the applications as there seems to be a big backlog on their side which is really affecting everyone including their economy.

hi
i want to ask 1 thing frnz
Do we need to keep the money(200k) in third party account till apply?
Money(200k) shown in bank account jst for 2 days.........5 and 6 december.
Bank statement printed on 6th december. And money took out on 6th december as well.
I have applied on 11th december.
will it b a problem in verification from ukba.Coz funds(200k) were not available on the date of application submitted.?

is this fine?

Hi Kashnex,

Thanks a lot for your reply.

Could you please let me know detail processing times of your 4 friends. I assume they all applied from UK on PSW route. Please confirm

When did they apply, when did they give bio metrics, when did they got their brps etc.
