Tier 1 General Dependent Maintenance very confused plz help

Dear Members

My wife have Tier 1 general visa and she has recently got her extension .She have 3 dependents and all of us got extension same time.
the 4th dependent is our son who is minor (17 years old) is outside UK.Now she want to apply Tier 1 Dependent visa for him .
My question is how much maintenance ...does she need to show maintenance for for only one dependent who is outside uk ...just note she has been in UK more than one year.
does she need to show only £600 for single dependent??
or she need to show (£900+£600+£600+£600 (herself and 3 dependent already in uk with valid leave)+£600(dependent who intend to apply now)=£3300

please advise me i tried to find out but all the guidance explain if the main applicant and dependent applying at same time.

The guideline is not very clear and it says to provide evidence that they have an additional £600 in available funds.... additional mean to show additional funds along with the others??????????

Are you asking another question or merely commenting that this was not something you could understand from the guidance? If you still have doubts please read Appendix E of the immigration rules. This refers exclusively to the dependant's maintenance but then cites the conditions if the PBS migrant is also applying at the same time.

(e) Where the Relevant Points Based System Migrant is applying for entry clearance or leave to remain at the same time as the applicant, the amount of funds available to the applicant must be in addition to the level of funds required separately of the Relevant Points Based System Migrant

Yes, what that means is that you cannot use your own maintenance fund for your dependants or if making separate applications, keep showing the same funds. So you cannot make one application and just show £600 and make another application and just show £600 - it must be a "different £600".

Dear Friends

Got status of the Visa and Visa is refused saying that not enough maint. funds
they are expecting maint. funds 2800 for me and 1600 for dependent.

They clearly specified that i need to show 2800 if less than 12 months of stay in UK
and In case of beyond 12months of stay in UK i need to show 800 + 535

So Sad...Need to wait for three more months to apply

i do appreciate your help but this all is very confusing as UK border didnt make it very clear as they have clearly mentioned about if you are applying together.
