HSMP Review Application Timeline

Post by nnj10 » Wed Feb 07, 2007 4:58 pm

Hi All,

Hope this thread could be useful for all awaiting decision on the review requests under new rules.

My details are:

Review Application Received by HO: 24-Jan-07
Status: Still with the Review Team under consideration.

I wonder, why in some cases, the review is taking a long time, and in some cases, the decision on review application is made very quickly.

I am planning for a second application, but before that just want to know the result of review application.

Anyone here who sent review in January and is still waiting for the result?

akumar, can you please share your review application timeline?

Hi,

In my case the review application reached HO on 9th Jan.

I got my decision letter on 2nd Feb.

The procedure over ther is:
1. Case worker has go score & decide.
2. That decision has to be verified/approved by Manager-1
3. That decision has to be verified/approved by Manager-2.

So each of the activity takes nearly one weeks time.

In my case, the point 1 happend on 16th Jan, point 2 happend on 22nd Jan and the point 3rd happened on 1st Feb.

So calculate the timings with this....

I agree ....

Review applications are taken up by the case worker ... and upon taking a decision need to be passed on to the supervisor and upon his approval need to be passed on to the Manager who will finally consider either the approval or rejection.....

And usually the review application are taken on a lesser priority to the Main application, hence exact timeline cannot be defined in here ....

:-)

If it helps anyone, I submitted my request for reconsideration by fax on January 11. The decision letter was dated January 16. Then took another week for the letter to reach New Zealand.

Still refused though...

Hi Lysergik,

Can you please tell, under which category was your review application?
Like mine was for the English language requirement?

I know somebody who applied at almost the same time as mine, has received the result on his review application, but when I contacted the HSMP Review Team last week, I got a response that the application is still under consideartion with the case worker.

I am planning for a second application by next week, once I get my IELTS result.

You did not supply the IELTS score or your university letter was not accepted, because lately they have become very stringent on the format of the letter!
