extension for family

Post by saudbs » Sun Jan 06, 2013 10:48 am

Hi All

I would be glad if anyone can help me. I am going for ILR at the end of January 2013 from tier1 visa. My wife is my dependant since july 2012 and I understand she cannot go for ILR.

I would need to apply for her extension, Could anyone please tell me which form I need fill and what will be the process?

Thanks,
Ahmed

Thanks for reply all :), she got dependant visa on 21st july 2012 but we got married in UK in march 2012 and she was on student visa.

So she has stay in UK for 2 year before she goes to ILR or 5 years?

5 years - it is not the date of marriage that counts, it is the visa issue date and as this was after 9th July, she will fall under the new rules.
