hi,
i have query regarding my wife application for BC, I and my 2-year old is applying for BC as i got ILR last NOV-2011 AND as my wife is on my dependant VISA and still 1-year left for her ILR she is staying with me as my wife since last 5-years can she apply with us now for BC.

Can you clarify the following :

* Is your wife on a spouse of settled person visa
* What is the start date and expiry date of her visa

yes I Got ILR she is on my dependant visa

her start date is dec-2011 and exp is dec-2013

She can only apply for citizenship once she has got ILR, which she can apply for 28 days before her spouse visa expires, so in December 2013 or depending on what the exact date of visa is, maybe in November.

What was her visa status before ILR spouse dependent visa?

hi,
excellent for quick reply

she came 1st in aug-2007 as my spouse dependant
than she changed her dependant visa to tier-2 visa in june-2009 with university of leeds and than in dec-2011 she changed her tier-2 visa to my dependant visa which ukba gave her for 2-years which expires in dec-2013 as I got ILR in nov-2011.

she was in uk legally since aug-2007

She can apply for ILR 28 days before she completes 2 years on spouse visa. Once she has ILR approved, she can immediately apply for BC as spouse of BC as she will only need 3 years residence to qualify.
