bank statement needed

Hi All,
I have a problem. i want to apply for hsmp as i am 27 now and have uk masters as well. i also have payslips before my studies in uk begun in 2001. only thing missing is bank stats. i don't have them. can i submit something else instead. i have certificate of tax return but it is not like here (p60) as i am from pakistan and thier tax system is not like uk.
can anybody suggest waht shall i do? i don't think my bank can re issue old bank stats to me and i am in country as well.

I guess any bank in that case should and must reissue your old statements ......

Incase you are not able to get bank statements then also attach a salary certificate from your employer along with your payslips ...all in original and also your ITR documents in original .....

many thanks for yr advice. i think i have to go back and ask my bank to re-issue my bank stats.
another query. my work exp is dated 1999-2001 as i came to uk in 2001 and till now am a fulltime student. so can i claim my work for that old period under new rules?? i can prove my fulltime studies from 2001 till present.
