Workpermit to HSMP - Regarding FLR

Post by hari15 » Wed Nov 22, 2006 9:43 pm

Have anybody here have switched from workpermit to HSMP?

I have one doubt in that

I have my current workpermit Valid till March 2007. I just got HSMP approval based on old scheme. Hence I am applying for FLR(HSMP) on December

My Doubt is what will be my HSMP Visa Start Date?

Will they give it from April 2007 or from the date the application CC charged? or from the date it goes to caseworker's hand? or is it random?

Please inform

Hi Hari15,
How many years have you got 1 or 2? And visa start date I think will be when it is endorsed on the passport. Not 100% sure.

Hello Friends,

Last week i have received approval for out of country HSMP case. I am travelling to UK through my current employer on Work Permit. Do i have to come back to India and apply for EC or can i apply for FLR in UK (and there is no need to return).

Please let me know your thoughts.

Thanks!!!

The choice is yours....
You can do EC from India or
apply for FLR(HSMP) once you are in UK...

Do carry all the papers sent for the initial approval as you may need it incase if the caseworker asks for it during FLR(HSMP)...

I thought out of country applicants cannot apply for FLR from within UK and viceversa for in-country applicants

hari15,

Any updates about your FLR(HSMP) case ?

How long it took for FLR(HSMP) ?

As per Guidance notes, We need to send these documents, Is that ok ?

1) Passports + Dependent's passport
2) 2 Photographs
3) Bank statements / Pay slips
4) Rent receipts
5) Marriage certificate
