It's 5 months and 1 week for me.
Counting down for me to start really fretting (after 6 months.)

Alex , Please let us know what their response to the MP is . I applied SET(O) 11/07/2012 and am still waiting. UKBA today told me that it is still incomplete and I will have to continue to wait. She was also kind enough to let me know that by the looks of things, it will not be long before they “complete” the process. Not sure whether the last remark was to leave me with a positive thought or just a standard response for people who wait beyond 6 months.Alex1980 wrote:I, too have passed 6 month mark and have called UKBA to ask WTF is happening. Very politely lady said that its incomplete. Only thing they see on the computer screen is whether reply has been posted or not. They don't even know if it is a positive or a negative decision.
I have already written an email to my MP, sort of to celebrate 6 month of waiting. In two days I have had a reply from MP's secretary reassuring me that MP has sent request to Chief Executive of UKBA and once he hears back I will be informed. My understanding is that UKBA should reply to MP within 2 weeks time.
What I hope for is that UKBA representative will get box on the ears and will come up with a more informative reply to my MP, rather than "it's incomlete + please wait"

BRP - 11 Jan 2013
Documents - 11 Jan 2013 (sent to previous address)
Its better to set up the forwarding with Royal Mail otherwise they will end up at your previous address. If you set up the redirecting of mail with Royal Mail all your letters and parcels will be sent to your new address.uniprinciple wrote:Hi atk3501,atk3501 wrote:GLORY and Honor be to the ALMIGHTY GOD, my ILR has been approved....

When you said the documents were sent to your previous address, were they forwarded to your current address? The reason why I am asking is because I am moving home and I am wondering whether I should ask them to update my address or simply just setup the mail forwarding service?
Do you guys have any suggestions on the two options?
Thanks.

Your timeline is almost identical to my wife's - she has heard nothing yet, though! When you say BRP I assume you mean your ILR Residence Permit? How did that arrive? Was that through the mail or was that by courier? Did you have to sign for it? Also, I would be getting worried if a parcel was dispatched on Monday (presumably by courier service?) and it has not arrived by today, unless you live in a very remote part of the UK! Most courier services would normally deliver within 1 (or I would have thought at most, 2) days from dispatch, so I would have thought delivery by yesterday? What is your tracking showing as delivery date?
