Xfering the dependent visa to new passport in UK

Hi,


if we decide to apply for new indian passport what would happen to the dependent visa?

Why doesn't she get the new passport, in her married surname, prior to making the application for ILR in May? Then the ILR can be put into that new passport.

Given that she will be applying for ILR after 01.04.07, has your wife already passed the Citizenship Test, or is she still studying for that?

Yes, in most cases. Starting April.
