Hi Friends,

A small basic question

Is there any limit to extensions one person can apply?
i.e.
If I meet the criteria then can I apply for 3 or 4 extensions (if due to residency period requirement I am not able to apply for ILR) ?

anybody got 3 extensions ?

Yes, you may apply for as many extensions as you wish.

Please note that this is true under the current rules. I cannot envisage that Tier 1 (General) route will stay open for extensions indefinitely - at some point this would need to be done away with in order to simplify immigration law.
