If successful you're looking at 7-9 months from now. If not, could be longer, if you give them the docs they want to see, there's no way it won't be overturned.

By the grace of Allah my wifes visa has been granted today. It took 46 working days.
I am posting here to share some advice. These forums are great if you have questions about visas, immigration and their processes.
But when you apply for a settlement visa, we all know that it can take up to 6 months. To keep asking other members about their visa timeline is not going to speed things up. Every application is different and has their own circumstances. In fact, worrying will only make you more anxious.
My advice is to fill your own applications as much as possible as nobody is better qualified to know about you or your spouses situation and circumstances. Once you have done as much as you can and submitted your application, then leave the rest to Allah.
I know that when you genuinely love your spouse, it can be difficult to be apart but have faith in Allah that if He gave you your spouse, then He will will bring you together and Insha Allah your visas will be granted. I sincerely wish all genuine applicants all the best.

Has anyone applied for a spouse visa from Pakistan under the new financial exemption rules (dla and carer's allowance) ?????
Would greatly appreciate any feedback and experiences.

Refusal

Post by Mona1990 » Sat Jan 19, 2013 12:06 am

My husband's visa was refused today because i did not have 6 months of payslips. What i want to know is should i go into an appeal or should i submit a fresh case? The reason im asking this is because i have been refused because i did not have 6 months of employment history. I only had 4 months therefore only 4 payslips.. Please get back to me..

Hey
My case was also refused in November because of the same reason as your cause I also submitted only 4 months payslips and there was no other reason of refusal I added 3 more months of payslips total 7 and half months
And submitted a new case

So therefore I thought why I should wait for a year in appeal
Ukba is taking less time to process the application now so why not take the chance and re apply

Appeals can be long if they go to court. The only reason why they were going court was because there were too many spouse visa so appeals were not given any priority....
They are quiet now so you may get your case overturn as its only payslips. How long you wanna go Pakistan... Because how can you have payslips if you are in pak....
And I know that some people had they accounts rechecked before they got their visa. If it goes court and you use solicitor it can be costly just like a new application.
Appeal is £140 and might get overturned.

I don't think your case is difficult and I don't think you will need a solicitor. You are working and you can provide payslips.. If they want 6 months then send 12 months... And make sure the last month is the most recent one. That's all they want payslips... It's just their criteria.

I think if the reason of refusal is just the payslips then I think resubmit is a good option in my opinion because ukba is not taking long time to process the application although it is expansive but you have a good hope of getting visa in two months time Inshallah

If you can afford too then you do what's right for you guys... It's a stressful time but once you get in all the stuff then it's just a waiting game...

salary

Post by Mona1990 » Sat Jan 19, 2013 11:07 pm

Hi.
Ive got 2 jobs. in one im earning 14000 nd at the other im earning 6000. the 6000 is a fixed salary. i earn 500 gross every month. however the other job.. its a diff salary every month depending on how many hours i work. My december salary was very low due to sickness. i earned about 950 gross. will this affect the application? It does state on the payslip that im earning 14000 per annum though. would anyone know?

MashaAllah that's great news! I'm looking to submit my husbands visa case in February once I have 6 months slips for the second job that I have started. What evidence did you submit along with payslips and bank statements? (If you don't mind me asking)

I'm going to see a solicitor next week but I would really appreciate any advice from someone who has been through it themselves.

Thank you.

appeals usually take 3 months... they have only gone this long because of the increase in spouse visa...
its very hard for anyone to tell you wats right as no one know how the bhc work.. they are not reliable.
