Tier 1 Post study work extention

Post by somie » Wed Jan 16, 2013 12:42 pm

I have heard from few sources that if you are currently on PSW visa you can switch to Tier 2 if you are getting a salary of or over £20,000 and also if your company holds a sponsors licence. Is it true? if it is then what paperworks are required by the company to process this visa ?

YES. Your salary must be 20,000 or the salary indicated by your SOC code, whichever is higher. ALSO your job must fall under NQF 6, which is in the codes of practice.

well in addition:

Maintenance - £900 for 3 months bank statements (or your company can opt to mention in the CoS that they are covering this)
CoS - should be a NQF 6 level job or above (or NQF 4 Creative sector)
