Appearing in person on premium service at Cardiff

Hello
I am posting this on behalf of our close friend. They are going on premium service at Cardiff for ILR for spouse visa. Case is like - husband is already a British husband and spouse and two kids are going for ILR. Concern is - will they get the visa on the same day and all paper work will be done same day or will it take time that even though it's premium UKBA takes time to decide on the application.
Please advice.

They will not get the visa the same day - (a BRP is sent later), but they may notified of the decision on the same day.

Last question - any time frame within which they (family) will receive the BRP!

Within a week and usually after 3-4 days.....
