Hi n2820m,

Did you receive anything from either Stoke on Trent or Rochdale? I take it your ceremony was at Stoke?

In many languages (French, Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, ...) the acronym for EU is UE. In some languages is even more unexpected (e.g. AB in Turkish!) for the English speaker.

Can you also tell me if it's possible to applied for Naturilasation if you are spouse and just completed 5 and half years and you only have your PR for only 3 months? Because you only showed 5 plus on yours.

Thanks

Hi the problem with NCS was a lady who has no idea about BC process at all and she works for NCS in Liverpool Council. It was all about my driving licence and a points which i had 3 and 3.5 years ago. It was fixed penelies tickets but a person who wrote them down didnt put FP term next to it. Lady in NCS tried to tell me that i cannot apply because i have been conviced for speeding on the motorway as both of this tickets are SP50. ( avg speed on motorway)
I took my application form and just walked away plus i called her supervisor as well ( waist of time as well but i managed to take my money back) I called company in London MEDIVISAS and spoke to Chris Fysh and he told me that i should apply any way because he hasnt seen any problems with this which i did.
Im Polish citizen but with me i think was very easy straight forward application as i put all docs P60s, test certificate, passport driving licence plus resident permit with i have since 2005.

as far i know if its EEA citizen have to live in UK for min 5 years and she is a member of A8 grupe she has to be at least 12 months on WRS. But if you are already British Citizen she has to be married to you for 3 years min. I live in UK for 9 years in 2005 i had my WRS in 2006 Resident Permit and now i applied for citizenship.

It really depends on the council and the person at the other end of the phone, if they are prepared to check the certificates they have, they can give an update. I asked the lady nicely last time and she was friendly and checked for me, that was few weeks ago. I haven't called again to check, I thought if I call regularly, she won't check for me again. I plan to ring again by end of next month if I don't hear from the Home Office by then.

In the meantime, I am just going to sit tight and wait!!
