BC after marriage visa + ILR

Post by apple82 » Fri Jan 18, 2013 11:10 am

Can someone please advice me if I can apply for Naturalisation. Here is my case:

I came to UK on student visa - Feb 2008
Husband was here from last 10 years & was on asylum at that time.
Husband got ILR - June 2008
Marriage registered - May 2009
I Got 2 year marriage visa - June 2009
I Got ILR - August 2011

Q no 1: Can we apply for naturalisation as a couple now?
Q no 2: Is it possible if only I apply for naturalisation if husband dont want to apply?

Thanks in advance.

P.S : All 3 kids got their British Passports.

Q1. Apply in Feb 2013.
Q2. Yes, in Feb 2013.
You must be in the UK at the start of your qualifying period, etc.
