End Date on unrestricted CoS

Hello!

Can you please help me with the following
I already work for them under Tier 1 (Post Study), and my employment is permanent.

I am not sure what END DATE my employer should put when they assign unrestricted CoS?
Also, would this CoS be assigned to me for 3 years (for the duration of my new Tier 2 General) ?

It is up to the employer what work end date they put in the CoS. If your application is successful your leave will be 3 years + 14 days or the period of engagement + 14 days whichever comes earlier.

Just wondering, do you not need a restricted CoS as opposed to an unrestriced one seeing as you are applying for Tier 2 as an inital application?

Anyone switching from Tier 1 PSW to Tier 2 General are eligible for an Unrestricted COS, though it is their initial application.

I am in the same situation. What dates did your employer mention in the end?

Also I have few other questions:
1. What SOC code do you fall under and what is your job title?
2. How long did it take to get an Unrestricted COS approved? Was it as soon as your employer assigned or did it take several days?
3. Did you submit your visa application? If so, what documents did you send?
