Biometric information enrolment

Hi,

Really stupid question that has been bothering me for the last couple of weeks.

If I already have BRP and it was sent to UKBA along with the other supporting documents, will I have to enrol my biometric info again?

And if no, shall I get other kind of acknowledgement from UKBA that they have received my documents and started considering the application?(Here I'm assuming that I won't get a letter about BRP).

You will have to enrol biometrics every time you apply for the visa irrespective of the fact that you have given your biometrics before or not
