Marrying a Polish woman after 7yrs in UK

Post by eluranium » Thu Jan 24, 2013 7:26 pm

Hello,

My friend has been living in the UK on student / post-degree visa and now a Masters, for the past 7 years.

He is about to marry a Polish woman who lives here.
He is Israeli, and wishes to marry in the UK and remain in the UK.

Does anyone know what the process is for him?
(He's not EU)
Many thanks!

Yes he can marry without any problem, after marriage he can apply for eea2 form for residance card. But make sure his future wife exercises treaty rights.
