how long can i stay abroad if i am under hsmp visa

how long can i stay abroad if i am under hsmp visa

Hi,

I have been issued hsmp visa in dec 15th 2006. And i came back home(india) in jan 15th 2007 and wish to stay here until april ending 2007. But i am not sure how long , i am eligible to stay abroad on holiday .

I heard it is 3 months. Can anyone pls advice me on this and how long can i stay in india . and what procuderes to follow

It is much appreciated if anyone could kindly come up with earliest(ASAP) response

yes the maximum is 3 months.

3 months, if you intend to have your previous stay count towards continuous stay for settlement purposes. if u can compromise that , i guess you can enter UK anytime as long as your permit is valid, 2 yrs in your case.
