Hi guys
Thanks for your reply. If you see the following points for the Tier 1 PBS Dependent Policy guidance, they say to maintain £1800 and then on point 45 they say that you also have £600 to maintain yourself. it is confusing me. Could you please provide me the reference where it clearly says that I just need to maintain £600 or £1800 for 3 months and it should not fall below.
Yes, it is only 1 dependent (my wife who will apply from Pakistan to join me). I have been maintaing £1800 plus fund for last two months and now i am worried. how much i need to show for 90 days £1800 or £1800 for my wife and + £600 for myself. if i have to maintain £2400 for 90 days then i have to wait for next 3 months again to apply for my wife visa from Pakistan on Tier 1 General dependent.
PBS policy: -
Family members of Tier 1 migrants (excluding Tier 1 investor dependants and
Tier 1 exceptional talent dependants)
44. If the Tier 1 Migrant is outside the United Kingdom or has been present in the United Kingdom
for less than 12 months, you must show that you, the Tier 1 Migrant, or (for children) your other
parent who is also legally present in the United Kingdom have at least £1800 to support you; this
is in addition to any funds the Tier 1 Migrant needs to prove they have enough money to support
themselves. Please note dependants of Tier 1 (Investors) and Tier 1 (Exceptional Talent) do not
need to satisfy the maintenance requirement.
45. If the Tier 1 Migrant has been in the United Kingdom for 12 months or more, you must have
£600 to support yourself.
46. For example, the Tier 1 Migrant has been in the UK for 6 months and is making an application
at the same time as their spouse and two children. They must show that they have £1800 for his
spouse and a further £1800 for each child, in addition to £900 required for their own support. In
total the family will require evidence that they hold £6300 in available funds (£1800 x 3 = £5400+
£900).
47. If the same Tier 1 Migrant and their family had been present in the UK for two years, they
would require evidence that they held £2700 (£600 x 3 = £1800 + £900) in available funds.
