I applied on 17th July and Bio given on 27th July! Still waiting!

hi humv, hopefuly you will get ur visa sorted soon as I knw someone who applied in july an got visa in January and also received his biometric card as well .... I applied in January and received acknowledgement and biometric invitation so let c how long it will take them to decide the application received in January.

There is no definite time period because before Xmas some people registered bio in early Aug start getting visas but after Xmas nobody get visa and if someone got it, they are from july. When I applied 6 months ago the date set on processing time was 27 july and still they are processing the application from july. I guess they handle this category as the least priority among all.

Hello guys,
No one is updating about his visa on this forum as UKBA totally pissed us off with their slow progress. Now its been 6 months but still i am waiting for any reply from UKBA. They verified with our bank on 9th Jan as we applied as a Team & our funds r abroad. Does anybody also got verification from their Bank by UKBA???Following r details:
Applied: 25th July 2012
Bio given: 13th August
PSW Route
Still Waiting

hello guys

Applied: 10th December 2012 main n 3 dep
money taken 11th December 3 app one dep money problem
ACK RECIEVED : 14th December
asking for dep fee money on 24th December next 7 days
returned dep application fee on 27th december taken payment 2nd Jan 2013

after that no reply from UKBA

Switching form tier 4 to tier 1 200000 route money in Pakistan

and madina100 please tells how they verified with ur bank was the money still in account or not what things they asked from the manager or bank

Hi Gardazi,
They asked from Head Branch in Dubai than the Head branch informed our local branch in PK that verification of this Account has been done. That,s all i know. Our funds are still in account.

Did they ask for the balance at the date they verified or the time you sent your application.

Hi Alik & Adil:
I have written in my previous post that Head office in Dubai told to my local branch in PK UBL that UKBA verified this account. Our balance is still in account. I hope u guys got my point now.

I guess they are processing application but at very slow pace .... so wait wait and wait is the only option left for us ..................... and we can pray to things to get better.

I given my biometric today so I guess by end of June / July I will have decision.

hello guys

today i called UKBA cause i applied last month on 10th december till now i didnt got the BIO letter yet so they told me that they send the letter today so hope fully people will be getting letters for BIO this week

she also mentioned that if i didnt got it in next 15 days call back

i was surprised the lady was polite n speaking properly plus asked every details of the application as she had so much free time still dont believe them but finger crossed

do let us know from ur experiences about ur application status

Lucky you .... My friend applied mid December and he is still waiting for biometric letter .... I applied 07/01/2013 and received by acknowledgement letter and received biometric letter on 26/01/2013 and given biometric today and I guess its time to be patience, sit relax and wait for the visa (6 months atleast)...................... simply no idea how UKBA system work .. December still waiting for bio letter and January applicant already given biometric .... simply CRAZY

anyway good and keep us posted and it will help us all

Money were in UK so I don't think that they verified it. I just attached my bank statement with application.

NOTE: I have very strong profile having PhD, MScx2, and have been working as researcher. In addition to compulsory dox I attached my CV, all my academic dox, and two recommendation letters one from Director of research and second from my PhD supervisor.

I don't know if they considered all these

i just saw UKBA site and come to know new rule for tier 1 starting from 31st Jan 2013 but also for old applicants also

what i understood that the money suppose to be in the Bank or Invested in Business until ur visa granted plus they might ask for an interview also

if any one know anything about it do share the info

either it will be quicker or more slow as they might be asking people for interview and then they decide for the visa so it can delay calling all new n old people or few people will be asked

but only good thing in that mostly people not genuine will back off and they people those who want to invest for there future will get is soon

We cannot do anything apart from waiting and praying ...... also they made some changes in the policy which will be effected from 31/01/2013 and will be applicable to all the application under process irrespective of date of submission.
