Tier 1 extension without dependant

Hi,

I have a tier 1 extension due in feb. I was married last year and now separated. My wife now resides in India. When completing the application form (section B9) should tick on married or separated? We haven't filed the divorce yet. Do I need to provide any supporting evidence if I tick 'Separated'? Thanks

separated, no evidence required

presuming u not planning on extending the dependent visa, not at least at the same time

AlokGM,

Did you ever applied for your wife's visa as your dependent and brought her to UK? You mentioned you haven't filed the divorce yet, do you need to file the divorce in UK if you were married back home in India?
