Salam Zully,

Thanks for your reply. I certainly shook myself a bit.

Secondly I remember reading you saying that appeals havent been overturned since August, I checked another site Trackitt and a lady by the name of Starrynight had hers overturned before Jan 21 in December after the winter break. Aside from mentioning that she had links with the prime minister of Pak, she wrote letters to D. Cameron, Adam Thompson (uk embassador in Pakistan) and the foreign secretary, complained to the independent officer who inspects the UKBA in Pakistan and Abhu Dabhi.

Any comments?

I heard about her... But that's the only one. But I'm not saying that they will not get overturned. I was trying to say due to an increase in spouse visa apps appeal were not really dealt with they were just sent to court. I was more talking for myself... And speaking about my 19 week wait... I'm not talking about any one else or saying that thieirs won't get overturned.

I'm a realist and I believe that there's light at the end if the tunnel I never worried really about having my hubby here or stated I couldn't cope without him. I knew god was doing this for a reason and I'm prepared to do my time. And just coz one person went through coz she had contacts well good on her. I ain't got no contacts.
So I'm not sure what comment you want me to make.

I personally think that your wife will be asked to submit her passport before you will hear any news because this is how I remember a friend of mine heard her good news. However, she had to wait a month rather than the standard 2 weeks and then about a month later her hubby was with her. This was back in January last year though.
InshaAllah sooner or later you will get the news.If God forbid they were planning to reject again then you would definitely have heard within 2 weeks. So keep parying that they reply soon and for us too.
Hi All
I submitted my appeal in October, got a reply from AIT that my docs were forwarded to Isl on 31st of Oct, but when I asked my MP to write a letter on my behalf which she kindly did (in beg of Nov),she got a reply (on 27th of Nov) that an appeal hadnt been received by them(in Ibd) from us and that it takes 90 days when the appal is received for review.
At this I contacted my solicitor and he said there may have been a delay by the AIT-A whole month delay -hmmm.
Since then I forwarded the letter received from the AIT confirming that ECO has to reply by March 13 to my MP again and asked her to write another letter.
She again kindly did so,this time she said that she sent a copy to AIT for their records also and side by side mentioned to me that this is as far as she can go because these are now legal/court issues.I hope that the customer services of Ibd office get the max info and atleast provide some info to her quickly abaout our appel because both my lawyer and myself have not been given a reply.

You are all right, yes we should "chill" and wait for the news as it comes but for me its not easy..I believe in Fate-dont get me wrong but when you put so much effort, time money in proving something that is so evident and not to mention a daughter who misses her father then its not the frustration that drags you down its the worry that what if those maniacs in Ibd make the same stupid mistakes again and then starts another period of waiting.

Anyway my question is would it help if I send a general letter from my daughters doctor that she is missing her father and so for her mental and physical well being could they speed the process...Would the solicitor be able to send it to Isb at this time, and would it be received and looked into.
Any suggestions?
Hi thanks, ur ryt we should wait patiently as stressing wont do any good, and everything happens for a reason. In Sha Allah soon or later we all will be with our spouses Ameen. its just a matter of time. May Allah Swt Give us all success and give us Sabr through this hard time.

personally i dont think any letter like that would help, as you know they dont care how one feels unless theres a good guy or girl behind the paperwork, but sending it wont do any harm, you can allways add additional info to the application. In Sha Allah you will hear good very soon.

Keep Praying And remember us all in your Dua's.

IF bhc do overturn appeal during the 19 week period, how do they inform appealant or representatice? From what i understand Gerry's in no longer involved so you would not get a text message notification like with visa app process.

The period has just started and deadline for ecm review is end may but one can hope/dream/pray...

A phone call to visa applicant and a call letter via email or post to them telling them decision overturned.

No nothing... I think it's such a slow process... I haven't experienced such a bad service in my entire life. There's no urgency no care or consideration for humans... You know we pay for this service well I have anyway.. And it not cheap, they should work accordingly... You pay a grand just to be refused.. Then 5 months for a court date and that's paid for we ain't getting it free... And three weeks on the judge is still working out a decision.. He's probably already spent that day's wage and I'm waiting for an a4 sheet of paper to decide my future... Ukba are rubbish I fact worse than rubbish.

hi yes i know Zully how you must be feeling as we are in the same boat, but what can we do its not in our hands, all we can do is email after email and still wont get a str8 forward response. But In Sha Allah all will be good. Trust Allah Swt everyting in his hands And Surely he knows what we going through. May Allah give us all Sabr And Success Ameen.

@ Awaiting yeh i guess so, because i emailed Isb last night and they response saying that they didnt contact, and told to wait.

Best of luck to all
