ILR SUCCESS : Croydon : Ltd Company Director (HSMP+Tier1)

Post by antouk » Fri Feb 01, 2013 6:53 pm

Hi All,

First my thanks to one and all for sharing their experiences in this useful forum and making this forum a complete reference on immigration related queries.

Now coming on to my experience : I applied as a Tier1 migrant(2 yrsHSMP+ 3 Yrs Tier1) for me and 3 dependents(wife & 2 kids). My appointment was at 11:25, i reached at croydon peo at 11:05, after usual airport style security checks i was asked to visit one of the counters in the ground floor.

My application(just the application) was verified and he stamped few pages. I didnt even check what it was. Then i was issued a computer generated token and sent to 1st floor for the payment and further process.

By the time i finished my payment(HSBC debit card) it was around 11:40. My token was called at 11:50pm and an english lady(smiling and friendly) asked my application form and passports. She asked me to wait for 10mins and she entered something on the computer. After that she said i will be called for biometrics in few mins. At around 12:00 i was called for biometrics. I finished my biometrics at around 12:30(had some troubles taking pic of my son(8months old), the lady was little impatient, i took my ipad with some his fav rhymes loaded which came handy in making him stare at the camera :) ). At around 1pm i was called by another case worker at another counter. He asked me to submit the application and passports. Then he asked me all the supporting docs. I told him i have photocopies(he appreciated that). He told me that it will take 45mins, but he called me back in 20mins(1:20pm) and said my application is successful and i will receive my BRP in 7 working days. According to me it was a lightning fast service (it took jus 1hr 40mins after completing the payment). Following are the docs i submitted :

1. 4 passports + copy
2. Application from(Set(O))
3. Photos(2each total 8 photos for 4ppl)
4. Life in UK certificate
5. 12 payslips, 4 dividend vouchers.
6. 12 personal bank statements(sal & dividends marked in pencil)
7. 12 business bank statements(sal, dividends, paye & VAT payements marked in pencil)
8. Incorporation certificate
9. VAT reg certificate
10. Accountant letter detailing salary, dividend, invoices and about my 100% shareholding etc
11. Company annual report detailing P&L etc + copy
12. Annual tax return +copy
13. 12 invoices + copy
14. 4 P60s + copy
15. Paye payment receipts.
16. Corporation tax letter & payment receipts.
17. Cohab docs(6 docs from 6 different sources like mobile bills, nhs letters etc)

After about 20mins of submitting the docs the case worker took only the following and returned the rest:

1. Copy of Payslips & dividend vouchers
2. Copy of life in UK certificate.
3. Copy of personal & business bank statements
4. Copy of P60s
5. Copy of annual tax return
6. Copy of incorporation certificate
7. Copy of VAT reg certificate
8. Copy of Corporation tax remainder & payment receipt
9. Copy of Company annual report detailing P&L etc
10. Copy of cohab docs.

Except for a cranky tomtom (showing outdated routes) whole experience was good.

Once again a big thanks for you guys.

If you have any questions please post it, i can surely help you with my limited knowledge.

cheers

Hi Antouk,

first of all congrats couple of doubts though .

1) Did she ask any questions or just took the documents without asking anything ?

2) Did you keep originals and copy seperate or where they kept together?

3) They didn't take the accountant letter at all ? It seemed to be a standard requirement .

Copy of Corporation tax remainder & payment receipt

How did you get the payment receipt for corporation tax, I have been paying it regularly but since I keep shifting bases due to work the payment receipts don't reach me ..is there any way of obtaining it ?

Thanks,
Sandeep

I paid it by debt card, and you have the option to email the receipt. I took a copy of the email receipt.
