I haven't yet counted the number of identical or similar messages you've posted today, and I don't know how many people apart from me that you have PM'd with the same request

Will you please STOP IT NOW. It is serving only to irritate people and to reduce your chances of receiving a useful response.

Hello Rama,
Congrats.
How is it possible to send the urgent treatment for after applying the papers.
Yes, we can fax the urgent treatment application form to them.
But how will we send the proof for the same.
Is it possible for me to post and add some more documents (say an offer letter) after I apply for HSMP?
Where is it mentioned in guidelines?

Switch from Work Permit to HSMP - Initial Application Approv

Post by zap2deeps » Thu Jun 14, 2007 1:20 am

Hi All,

I sent my in-country application for HSMP on 29 May 2007 by Special Delivery. I made my payment through a cheque. Even though the payment got debited on 06 June, Royal mail customer care still said that the package was not picked up from the PO Box. I did not get my reference number until 13 June... along with the approval letter. I was delighted to know that the application was processed quickly eventhough I had not applied for urgent consideration.

Points Claimed - 75
Processing Time - 13 days.
Application Sent - 29 May 2007
Payment Method - Cheque
Payment Debited - 06 June 2007
Approval received - 13 June 2007
Reference Number recieved - 13 June 2007 (with the approval letter).

Age - 20
Salary - 20
Engineering Bachelors Degree - 30 (Professional Claim)
UK Experience - 5

For age I sent my Indian Driving License. Since it had only 'DOB' mentioned against my date of birth, I also sent a certified copy of my first, last and visa pages of my passport.

For salary I sent my P60, wage slips (not with signature and stamp), Bank Statements and Letter from Employer. I sent all evidences because there were quite a few ups and downs in my salary and salary structure change.
(allowances were added to basic pay... so a huge difference in basic pay).
Also explained in the cover letter as to why the huge difference in basic pay.

For Bachelor's Degree I sent my Bachelor of Technology certificate from Kerala University. I backed it up with UK NARIC certificate and claimed it as a professional degree.

And finally for the english fluency, I took and sent an IELTS certificate. Before taking the IELTS, I was skeptical about crossing the 6 band. I took the academic IELTS test and passed it with 7.5. So I realized its easier than what you think it is.

All the best for all of you applying.

I have found this website quite informative. Thank you to all who contributed to it.
