URGENT ACCOMODATION QUESTION

Post by confusedhsmp » Tue Feb 05, 2013 1:00 pm

I have arranged an accomodation for my wife and myself (1 bed flat) which is only available 28th Feb onwards. Eventhough i have paid the deposit the landlord says that he cant sign a tenancy agreement unless the current tenants move out. Problem is my wife has to apply in a weeks time and the best thing landlord can do is give me a letter saying that the property is available and that i have paid deposit. Would this be okay for UKBA? Ofcourse it will have landlords details and Home Office can confirm with him in a months time if i have moved in and whether the property is available.

I really need your help here as the landlord wants an answer today.

Many thanks!

Yes it is OK to get something in writing to confirm that accommodation will be available on arrival of spouse
