MN1 application when only 1 parent have ILR

HI ,

I have situation where I(father) have got ILR in person but I have to apply for spouse which I am planning to do in Post.

Can I still apply for the child Britich Citizenship basing application on 1 parent having status settled.

Section 1(3) from MN1 guide says

Section 1 (3)
A child born in the UK whose parents are not British citizens and were not settled in the UK(see page 6) will have an entitlement to register when their parents become settled in the UK or become British citizens.


Where on page 7 of guide it says

To be settled, the parent(s) must be free from immigration conditions. Children born in the UK to the following will not automatically become British citizens
