if the first application(switching from psw to tier2 )was invalid and reapplied in 28 days..will it become overstay even if the first application was posted before visa expiry?

You will become an overstayer from the date of the rejection of the application as invalid, or the expiry of your leave, whichever the later.

You can make a fresh application within 28 days of becoming an overstayer but you will not be given a right of appeal if the application is refused.

it will not but you have to declare it in any further application if asked

Hi Manci,
I am on PSW and new company soon going to apply my Tier 2 visa. But if they apply after my visa expiry then what will happen?? What are the drawbacks of being over stayer. Please let me know.
