Can I vary my application to ILR or book appointment now?

Hi Friends,

I have applied for tier1 extension in 25th July this year and I am still waiting for my passport to be back.

I had my first entry clearance with wp on 10th of January 2008. Going with 28 days rule prior to ILr eligibility. I should be eligible for ILR from 14th of December this year.

I want to know since my application is still with UKBA can I vary my application to ILR?

If I can't vary application can I book an appointment for ILR while waiting for Tier1 extension approval. Hoping my passport should be back with approved visa by that time.

did you unltimately varied yout Tier 1 to ILR or you just waited?

No Samrat, I did not vary my application and waited for tier1 extension but that doesn't mean you can not go for it. For me I got into different situation and didn't wanted to go ILR at that time.

Seniors can you give better idea how to vary application.
