Don't know too much about the new rules as I have applied under the old ones but just going through your docs I have some input:

For education, how do u know that your masters is equivalent to UK's bachelor's degree...have u got anything to prove it or is it just your assumption...

For earnings you need to show the Income Tax returns also...that will prove that you have declared both your full time and part time income and it comes from some valid sources...

For age, you need to give the birth certificate also.

Hi Akshet,

What exactly HO looks for While comparing Master's/Bachelor's degree?
Will they look or Both degree and University? or Only Degree?

Thanks!!

I am not too sure on this but in my case I have not gone for any assessment and had plainly sent my degree and got point without any doubts. I think if it's a good recongnised university and not a private institute or anything, they are fine...they don't start comparing the UK and your country's syllabus....I am not at all saying it should be a very famous university but should be recongnized...

For age I don't have birth certificate but I can give one more evidence along with Driving license and notarized copy of passport. Notarised translation of my national identity card.

When I applied first time in Oct 2006 they considered my master degree equivalent of British Bachelor degree, so I think thats fine.

For earnings I can provide ITR for full time job but I'm not paying any tax on part time earnings

I think birth certificate is important but still search this forum for some more information as I am not too sure...

For education it is fine. Don't tell the fact that you have been given point as bachelor's for your master's degree as each case worker have their own discreation and claim it as master's degree only...u never know if this time they consider it as master's only....

For earnings, again there is a problem if you don't submit your ITR showing both your income, they might think you are falsifying your records as you are not declaring your income...I think you should think something about it...

You should provide tax returns evidence even it is only covers part of the period claimed. Lots of rejection happen because tax returns are not submitted.

I'm not going for NARIC, i'm assuming it as bachelor degree based on previous experience.

Sorry about that, I didn't mentioned initially. I'll submit IELTS result with application.

I didn't paid tax on part time job.

[nileshratan] ignore that, I think the person is disappointed.

[paramjit2k] I can attach ITR for full time but unfortunately I don't have tax docs for part time earning.

One thing more, If I wait and apply in October then I don't need to show part time earnings and only my full time job earnings will do as I'm getting a very good raise and promotion.

Please advise what should I do?

Thanks,
JD

JD just one question about your degree and masters

Can you elaborate the duration of the courses. Pakistani degrees are bit tricky.

It's 2 years bachelor and 2 years master. total 130 credit hours.

I've applied in october2006 and they considered my degree equivalent to british bachelor degree.

But i'm most concerned about my earnings points. Thanks for your response.

You must provide ITR or you need to have solid excuse for not providing them with a proof.

I think you might have to sit for ielts. As 2 year degree is not be good enough to prove your english competency.
