I'm spouse of Irish citizen and applied in Dec 2011. I just emailed the INIS this afternoon and got this message
"Your application is at an advanced stage of processing. You will be
informed of the Minister's Decision as expeditiously as possible." I'm hoping to hear good news soon! :-)

I reckon that you should ask/email them too about the stage of your application. I guess most 2011 applicants are at the advance stage now!

Best of luck!

I emailed them last october i think, got email saying the application is currently processing and will be submited to minister for decesion.

I sent a second mail in January 13, and this time im told application is at advanced stage and will be informed of the decesion soon.

That's all so far, will see what happens next. Fingers crossed!!

IntegratedMigrant,

Letters posted on Fridays are delivered on Mondays; that is normal. And in some exceptional circumstances in the previous ceremonies, a couple of people reported on this forum that their letters were delivered on a Saturday.

Seems like they are working relatively fast to send out invitation ceremonies as the ceremony date is near.

INIS work Tuesdays and Thursdays, so them working on Friday is very exceptional.

No more invitations for 11 March ceremony and no further confirmed dates for 2013.

This is the reply I got this today.
"The March ceremony is fully subscribed with people that have already
received approval from the Minister. We have no dates confirmed yet for the
other ceremonies in 2013".

Hi
I have received my invitation today. I had receive approval in the beginning of the Jan.
The invitation letter is confirmation of attendance to the ceremony so I do not need to send anything back to INIS to confirm my attendance etc.
Has anyone received the same sort of letter?
Thanks

I got same type of letter. Invitation and no need to send back any confirmation. For me it is so, because I had already got my approval back in November 2012 and had sent the 950 euro, GNIB and photos in November.

It is a purple color letter for me.

Hope that helps.

I applied in Oct 2012, does it sound funny. The acknowledgement letter sent to me reads that your application has successively moved on to the second stage. I don't just understand
