hi guys in regard to traffic offance fpn all that shit, whether they will show up on the CRB check

this is the lasted and most correct answer to all:

Computer System is a bit different in england and scotland

in scotland :

all fpns, traffice office (fpn) and others will show up on CRB check if you commit them in scotland. The details are listed insdie a area called : "non-coviction disposuals " and of course all convictions cations will be listed in the sperate page

of course traffice offence will be record in dvla as well

in england :

all fpns are recorded in dvla, not the police nation computer, so if you have no serious traffice for example fpns, i will NOT show up when u asking for a CRB check in England

That was thorough research!

However, if you took the time to review UKBA caseworker guidelines, you will see CRB is never consulted on a naturalisation decision.

Caseworkers, alternatively, are instructed to make a request to PNC. These results are reviewed based on a long-winded set of instructions.

PNC can contain all sorts of info on you including things that you are suspected of doing. Even the things persons known to be acquainted with you are suspected of / convicted of in the past will be part of the report they receive.

Contrary to popular opinion on this forum, a clean CRB means nothing for naturalisation ( however, your nasty CRB items will definitely show up on the PNC also ).

Could you please help me to find the page? I have been looking for it on ukba website but can't find this Url. I need to read this section properly. Thanks

It's on here:

http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitec ... iew=Binary

You'll see lots of references to PNC yet zero mention of CRB. It also mentions the PSNI procedure as well as a whole lot of other reasons you can be refused on the basis of not meeting the good character requirements - for example if you have had mental health issues. Of course none of this is part of the declaration in form AN.

Many of the PNC stuff has been blanked out ( as secret ) but if you google PNC, you will find a whole lot of things the police put on the PNC that are far from conclusive of your individual character.

The moral of the story is not just to keep your record clean, but also make sure anybody you associate with prior to naturalisation is also of good character.

Here is an interesting quote from one of the easier to locate documents:

"Caseworkers should not normally consider applicants to be of good character if, for example, there is information to suggest:

They have not respected, and/or are not prepared to abide by the law (for example, they have been convicted of a crime or there are reasonable grounds to suspect (for example, it is more likely than not they have been involved in crime)"

And, they are not even allowed to give you a reason why they are delaying your application answer!

Pretty scary huh? Pretty good reason that some applications take 4 or 5 weeks and some applications go on forever.
