Maternity leave period

Hey guys,

Firstly I would like to thank you for all your great help and support.
I would like to mention that this question doesn't relate to me - I am trying to help a friend of mine who is not into internet that much.

My friend will apply for ILR in a year and half, she is expecting a baby around early next year. Is the maternity leave period will cause any issue in her ILR application? (e.g. i heard that the income in this period cannot be counted in the application's income).
