Need Help for Advance Planning

Post by ishchopra » Fri Feb 15, 2013 2:22 pm

Hello Experts,

There is a section in SETO Form i.e. 6.1,6.2,6.3

Section 6.3

I am just wondering what all details need to be given? Is it only work related when i was away on work to different country or do i need to mention personal holidays as well?

If i am stating the duration of my personal holiday then what kind of evidence i can give/attach?

although i was financially active during the holidays as they were paid leaves.

please help

you need to give more details on your visa as the evidence may or may not be needed depending on your visa category. Also, the rules are changing at a fast pace so it might help if you get used to the current rules in place and keep your self updated about the changes to avoid last minute disappointments. also it might be a good idea if you can copy paste the question so that members dont have to check the form for u.
Thanks!

Yes, you need to give details of ALL absences over the last five years.

The evidence depends on what your current status is.

To assist your query they want to know what is the route (Like HSMP/T1G or WP/T1G) you are applying your Settlement and total no of days absent from UK along with the dates/days and small brief like AL/On employment/Maternity/etc....

Here is my Complete Case

Post by ishchopra » Fri Feb 15, 2013 5:14 pm

I will be applying under Tier-1 route

apologize for inconvenience:

Hello Experts,

I need an advise, although I will hire a Solicitor for my ILR next year.

Tier – 1 Visa

My Case:

Tier 1 Granted : 01st April 2009
First time Landed : 24th May,2009

Went Back to home Country on 17th Nov’2009

Came back from Home Country 08th March’2010 – ( I was supposed to fly back on 08th Feb 2010 but due to an accident I had to reschedule my flight to 08th March 2010)
(During this period I had no job 18th Nov’2009 - 08th March’2010)

Then I went to home country for my marriage 18Jan’2011 – 16 Feb’ 2011
(Paid Holiday and was full time Employed)

Holiday Break 29 Dec’2011 – 23th Jan’2012
(Paid Holiday and was full time Employed)

Tier -1 Visa Expiry : 01 April’2012
Tier -1 Visa Extension application : 25th March’ 2012

Tier 1 Extension Granted (Visa Valid From) : 15th May’ 2012
Tier 1 Extension Granted (Visa Valid to) : 15th May’ 2014

Planned Holiday: 15th April’ 2013 – 10th May’ 2013
(I will be on paid holidays)

Question 1: Considering the situation above, can somebody please advise me if I can apply ILR next year?

Question2: If I apply ILR and get refusal, can I apply Tier-1 Extension again after ILR refusal?

Please advice

Would you care to list your absences and calculate the absence days? There's no way I'm sitting working all that out.

If your absences are less than 180 in a year (working back from your IRL application date), then you don't need to submit anything as "proof".
