Application Approved

Post by flamenco » Tue Mar 06, 2007 5:06 pm

Just heard from the case worker that my application has been approved. WOW, the whole process was really a nightmare and I am feeling so relieved now. My time line is as follows:-

Application sent: February, 6
Application reached: February, 8
Decision made: March 5

I am now waiting for my documents which should reach me in 3 working days as I have arranged a courier. I am now preparing for the EC stage.

Post by santosh_kotha » Tue Mar 06, 2007 5:34 pm

Dear Friends,

I got an approval for my application. First of all I would like to thank one and all in this forum. This helped me a lot to make a successful application. Here is my Timeline.

Out of country application (from India)
Applied on: 7th Feb 2007
Card debited and reference no. received on: 8th Feb
Ref No: 207xxx
Decision made: 5th Mar 2007
Result: approved (confirmed with Case worker over the phone)
Courier service: MBE (Documents on the way)

Points gained:
Masters – 35
Original degree certificate and NARIC letter

Earnings – 45
UK earnings, claimed only for 10 months from Jan 2006 to Oct 2006.
Wage Slips, Bank statements, P60 (2005-06) and P45 (current financial year)

UK experience – 5

Age – 10
Original birth certificate and driving license

English Language – IELTS (7.0)

My case is very straight forward. I got refused once with old rules. I made new application when my review application was in process. Later I cancelled my review application.

Now I am going for EC. Is anybody in this forum who applied EC from Bangalore, India. If so, could you please give me your personal email id and contact number if possible. I need to know some information.

Thanks,
Santhosh

Hi,

I got my approval letter yesterday and now preparing to apply for FLR (HSMP) as I am currently on a WP. i think we should use the same Feb. application area to discuss our entry clearance/ FLR applications as we have devloped a very good cooperative environment here.

Anyway can you guys please advise me on the following documents whether they are appropriate for FLR(HSMP)?

Passport
HSMP Approval letter
Payslips - 6 months
Bank Statements - 6 months
Rent agreement

Please advise if you think i should include anything else.

Thanks

Hi Waqar

Well I posted my FLR yesterday with following details
1. Passport and photograph (name on the back of photos)
2. 3 month bankstatment
3. Marriage certificate.
4. Copy of approval letter.

As they did not ask for any other documents, therefore I did not sent anything else.

I have gained a lot from this forum while applying for my FLR(HSMP). I wish to make a small contribution to the forum by outlining my case:
In country, hsmp extension application
1. 19/02/07 - sent FLR(HMSP) application by courier (UPS).
2. 20/02/07 - UPS online tracking shows that my application has been delivered.
3. 24 or 25/02 - received the reference number (2602xxxxxx), on a letter dated 21/02/07.
4. 01/03/07 - faxed urgent treatment form (job offer).
5. 05/03/07 - called HO, and was told that my application has been processed and a decision has been taken, and my documents were sent to me on 05/03. They did not tell the decision over the phone.
6. 06/03/07 - got my documents back by recorded delivery. Extension granted for four years.

I had sent a pre paid, self addressed, special delivery envelope and had requested, in my cover letter, for my documents to be sent using this envelope. However, the HO chose to sent it by recorded delivery. I am happy that I got back my documents safely.

Points breakdown:
My inital approval was for 12 months from March-06 till March-07, however I started working only in May-06.
1. Education - 35 (did not submit master's degree because I had submitted it for my initial approval).
2. Age - 20 (passport).
3. Earnings - 30 (bank statements, original pay slips as issued by my employer (it is one of the standard uk pay slips) - no sign/stamp, letter from my employer confirming my annual salary, salary till date and taxes paid till date. I claimed expectional circumstance for not submitting P60 because the period claimed June-06 to Jan-07 falls wholly under the current tax year).
4. UK experience - 5.
5. Original tenancy agreement. I had also mentioned in my cover letter that my bank statements should prove my ability to sustain myself here without any public funds.

Hope this helps somebody.

Problem with signature

Post by invisibleman » Thu Mar 08, 2007 9:18 am

Hello friends,
My signature on my passport and on my latest tax returns are different. Will it be a problem? Please suggest how to manage my signature change? For your information, my signature on driving licence and on my passport are one and the same (old signature). But on my tax returns it is different (latest signature).

Are there any people from this forum, who has different signatures like mine in different documents? Please share your experiences.

Thanks in advance!!

Hello Friends,
I have faxed my documents to NARIC 2 weeks back and waiting for their response.
My all other documents are ready.
I wish my application to reach home office before April 1st (when the fee will increase).
Can anyone tell me how many days will it take for my application to reach home office if I send it from Bangalore, India.
Which is the fast and safe postal service, which I can send the documents.
Please reply.

Hi reshma,
Either send it by FEDEX or DHL both are exually gud, FEDEX takes 1 day and DHL takes 2 days. For return document you have to make arrangements while you send the documents to HO. :D

Reshma if you can share your degree and uni, then someone may be able to tell you if you need naric or not. You can send you app and send naric letter later.
