Notice to employer

Hi could anyone tell how much notice do I need to give my employer by law in the UK if I have been working lee than 2 years.On my contract state 1 week after 4 week service that mean only one week notice am I right.

Your contract should have details about the notice period. Normally you have to abide by what it say on your contract. Generally it's 4 weeks if you have worked over an year
