Dear Senior members,
I am about to complete 5 years based on WP and Tier2(ICT) combination. My SOC Code is 2131 and my job title is project manager. My salary is well above defined salary in code of practice. My working hours are 8 hours per day and 40 hours per week.
I urgently need clarification on section 5:-
1. SOC code (or nearest applicable which best describes your employment) – Should I mention 2131 or should I mention 2131-Project Manager
2. Current rate of Pay (as stated in the Codes of Practice– hourly rate or annual salary) – Leave blank
3. Current rate of Pay (as stated in the Codes of Practice Per annum – hourly rate or annual salary) – Should I mention my salary or salary defined in code of practice
4. Number of hours this salary is based on – 40 Hours
5. Number of weekly hours – 40 hours
Can senior member review answer of all 5 questions above.
Many Thanks in advance

I got partial response of my query. Based on my understanding from other discussion post, I have written my answer.
1. SOC code (or nearest applicable which best describes your employment) – 2131-Project Manager
2. Current rate of Pay (as stated in the Codes of Practice– hourly rate or annual salary) – Leave blank
3. Current rate of Pay (as stated in the Codes of Practice Per annum – hourly rate or annual salary) – £39000
4. Number of hours this salary is based on – I DO NOT KNOW
5. Number of weekly hours – 40 hours
I am not very intelligent to extract answer for question 4. Dear esteemed members kindly review my answers. Please suggest answer for question 4 and confirm other answers are correct.[/b]

Thanks Kevin24 for your response.
SOC salary is based on 37.5 hours per week. Going by this analysis, I should mention 1950 ( 37.5 x 52) hours for question 4.
kindly confirm.[/b]

1 - Your SOC Code -2131 Project Manager
2 - blank as the corresponding salary for your SOC code was given 'annual'
3 - corresponding salary for your SOC code, not your actual salary.
4 - 1950(37.5*52)
5 - 37.5

Dear gagan1986 and Kevin1924,
Section5 will be changed for me due to new COP (COP 2010) introduced. The working hours has been changed to 39 per week.
Section 5 will look like this
1 - SOC Code -(i do not know) Project Manager
2 - blank as the corresponding salary for your SOC code was given 'annual'
3 - corresponding salary for your SOC code, not your actual salary.
4 - 2028(39x52)
5 - 39
Please comment.

Re #5, is 39 hours your work hours, or salary on soc code base on? the form asks for the latter.

When are you going to apply for your ILR? If before end of April, then you have to give March salary details and with an Employer's letter regarding the New salary and new code,if relevant from April onwards.

I am thinking to wait for 6th April. There are too many changes happening on 6th April. I want to carefully analyse the impact on my case then I want to apply. My visa is valid for next 1 year.
