Can I collect documents from Croydon Office if withdraw

I have requested for my passport..does this means my application is withdrawn automatically. I had applied for tier 4 visa now I want to withdraw application and want to go home as soon as possible. Can I go Croydon office to collect my documents in person as I read on UKBA web that you can collect documents between 9- 12..Is that true. if anyone have the information pls help me. I need my documents ASAP. what is the fastest way to get them. I HAVE ALREADY REQEST THEM TO FOR MY PASSPORT ...WILL IT BE CONSIDERED AS WITHDRAWN OF APPLICATION.
